Whether you enjoy a country walk or philosophical inquiry, The Westin Resort Costa Navarino offers a vast array of activities that rejuvenate the mind and body.

Inspired by the ancient Greek philosophers that taught even during a leisurely walk, Philosophical Walks offer you a unique experience against the idyllic backdrop of the Messinian countryside. Lead by University Professors, topics are taken from ancient Greek writings and look at the impact of ancient Greek philosophical thought in the world through the works of prominent Greek philosophers such as ‘Socrates on Madness and Love', ‘Plato on the physical universe', ‘Euripides on democracy', and others.

During November 2011, Philosophical Walks take place every Saturday from 4pm and last approximately 1.5 hours.

Please note that following a request of 10 days in advance a Philosophical Walk could also be arranged upon group requests of 5 people or more.
